The Orange Partnership and the ICAEW Construction & Real Estate Community are teaming up with the RICS for a webinar geared around identifying how to avoid common risks faced during construction projects.
The discussion will build on the ICAEW Audit Insights: construction report in identifying common pitfalls that can occur in construction projects and will then expand upon what steps can be taken to avoid them.

The webinar will focus on:
- The crucial need for dialogue between professional teams to ensure that the type of contract, nature and timing of the construction is understood and agreed upfront
- Controls in operation during the construction phase to ensure that there is effective reporting of profit which takes into account the impact of variations
- A final assessment of the completed project including dispute resolution, retentions and settlement
