Maths Initiative

At The Orange Partnership we are passionate about maths.

Confidence manipulating numbers empowers individuals in fundamental ways, such as budgeting and planning. On a more advanced level, it enables them to create visual representations, craft compelling narratives, and uncover insights that might otherwise remain hidden.

Recognising this, we have dedicated the past five years to supporting primary schools in teaching numeracy. Our focus is on the areas where our key clients are located and where we spend the majority of our time.

Through various initiatives, including one-on-one tuition and tailored maths awards, we strive to make learning numbers an enjoyable experience for young students. Our efforts extend to providing educational tools such as clocks, mobile shops, and even plastic money, all aimed at making maths more accessible and engaging for children.

Our aim is to inspire the next generation of mathematicians.

Providing Children With

Bespoke Support

For the past five years, we have collaborated closely with the Maths leads and Head Teachers at the schools we support. By providing tailored assistance to meet their specific needs, we have made a significant impact. Our support has included:

  • One-on-One Tuition: Personalised tutoring sessions to help students grasp mathematical concepts more effectively
  • Tailored Maths Awards: Incentive programs designed to motivate and reward students for their progress and achievements in mathematics
  • Educational Tools: Supplying clocks, mobile shops, and plastic money to make learning maths more interactive and enjoyable
  • Teacher Training: Providing professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their instructional skills in numeracy
  • Resource Provision: Ensuring schools have access to the necessary materials and resources to support effective maths instruction

Through these efforts, we have helped to create a more engaging and supportive learning environment for young learners, making a tangible difference in their mathematical education.
