Our Story
Founded in 2004 by Darren Ward, The Orange Partnership emerged from the Terminal 5 project at Heathrow. Here we pioneered the innovative, risk-based and highly cost-effective “forensic” approach to cost assurance, utilising qualified accountants.
This unique approach was a response to what we saw as the ineffectiveness of onerously large teams of cost checkers adopting the substantive 10% sample approach. Typically checking hundreds of invoices over extended periods of time, resulting in high costs and missed overcharges.
Over the years, our risk-based, forensic approach has been enhanced under the guidance of data mining and analytics expert John Taylor. By intelligently using bespoke software, we provide insights into complex actual cost transactional data.
Our blend of forensic accountancy skills and commercial expertise enables us to unravel complex cost issues and deliver independent opinions that clients and suppliers can trust. We provide transparency over costs and simplify complex cost issues, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
