The Orange Partnership
Assurance Planning
For the past two decades The Orange Partnership has been been at the forefront of developing and delivering risk-based audit plans on major programmes and projects. We work closely with our clients to develop plans which identify the right projects, contractors or programmes to focus in on, based on a sound understanding of risk, which all goes towards improving reporting, driving value as well assuring defined cost accuracy
We have a formal risk-based methodology which is typically split into phases allowing outputs to be reviewed and sense checked. The result is a fluid, relevant and robust plan.
At the heart of any assurance plan are two building blocks. Firstly, clarity and consensus on objectives and secondly, a high-level view on the contract or programme risks, both “business as usual” and emerging challenges.
Our success in this area stems from our deep construction and contract knowledge, coupled with our formal audit expertise. We speak the same language as our clients and possess a profound appreciation for the pressures and difficulties their stakeholders face. Through collaborative efforts, we work hand-in-hand to identify, evaluate, and prioritise these objectives and risks.
Our rigorous risk-based planning enables your audit activity, whether delivered internally or by us, to properly align and focus its resources to produce insightful, proactive, and robust cost assurance. By carefully assessing and prioritising risks, we optimise resource allocation, ensuring that efforts are concentrated where they are most needed. This approach enables us to uncover potential issues early, address them proactively, and provide our clients with the confidence that their costs are accurately assessed and controlled throughout their projects and programs.
