2nd Day – Launch the ‘Learning Zone’

This year we introduced the Learning Zone where you can find a range of training resources around the management of open book contracts.

Under cost reimbursable or target cost arrangements, clients and main contractors need to know that they are paying the right amounts. Yet there is no “best practice” in the construction industry regarding cost assurance, as the work carried out isn’t regulated.
In our experience there are many client and contractor organisations out there who are planning assurance work poorly, using ineffective audit techniques and spending large amounts of money on cost assurance which provides little meaningful confidence over costs.

Over the last 20 years The Orange Partnership has conducted well over one thousand stand-alone forensic audit assignments on major open book contracts. We have a proven track record of improving financial processes, developing commercial principles and providing robust assurance over costs.

Innovation and knowledge sharing is at the heart of The Orange Partnership. During 2023 we will share a selection of our guides, models, best practice tips and latest thinking.
