As forensic accountants we love working with numbers and statistics and are passionate about encouraging the teaching of maths at an early age in an accessible and fun way.
For the last 18 months we have been supporting Primary Schools located close to our key clients in promoting the teaching of maths in a fun way. As part of this initiative at the end of last year we introduced a range of The Orange Partnership “Young Maths Hero” Awards, each bespoke to the schools’ particular maths objectives. These are currently being presented to young maths heroes from 7 primary schools across the country, spanning from Whitehaven and Durham in the North, to Bridgwater in the South.

Maths Award Winners at Hamp Academy in Bridgwater
Whitehaven is close to NNB / HPC which has been an important client for several years. Since Christmas we have been collaborating with the Head Teacher of Hamp Academy and together we have created the “Master of Multiplication Award”. The Award Ceremony was in July and the amazing winner was the young lady pictured above.
Words from the winner:
“I am very happy. Learning my times tables has helped me so much in maths.”
Maths is such an important life skill, and we are delighted that working with NNB / HPC has meant we have been able to support this very deserving school.
